This must be a new record time of not updating the site. How do others do that (discipline, I guess). A short overview of what has been happening:
New images, part 1: swimming pool “de Kikker”
Close to my house, in the “polder” landscape, are various old fortresses. In one of these, a swimming pool has been created in the water around it (in 1922!). It’s a beautiful spot that I regularly notice on my early morning bike rides. And I was attracted to the site in it’s silence, early morning before the swimmers come in. So I contacted the people running it (all volunteers) to ask if it was possible to come and take pictures before opening hours. They agreed, very nice, and I have been there several times. It’s a magic place in the morning, kingfisher birds flying by, quiet waters, empty diving board. Here are some pinhole images.
Exhibition in Utrecht (solo)
In the beautiful main library, former post office building at the Neude square. Jeff McConnell came to see the show together with Dana Pankova, great fun.
Then there was the Bi-annual pinhole show in Tokyo, where I submitted two images. here they are, together with a postcard from Tokyo:
